【JEF沖縄】
沖縄生まれ、沖縄育ちのジェフは、ジェフ創業者の喜名民雄氏が本土復帰直後の1973年3月『沖縄本島南部にハンバーガー文化を広めたい』との想いから、与那原町に1号店をオープンしスタートしました。当初はフランチャイズチェーン店としての店舗でしたが、1986年7月に独立、沖縄生まれ沖縄育ちの「Jef-ジェフ-」が誕生しました。
Jefという店名は、Japan Excellent Foodsの頭文字の略しています。
『日本で優れた食品を提供し、お客様に喜んでいただき、お客様の信頼を得る』という想いが強く込められています。

Graphics created specifically for this project are featured on both the front and back.
It is a captivating piece that encapsulates the identities of both brands.

【JEF OKINAWA】
Born and raised in Okinawa, Jef began in March 1973—immediately after Okinawa’s reversion to Japan—when founder Tamio Kina opened the first store in Yonabaru Town with the desire to “spread hamburger culture throughout southern Okinawa Island.” Initially operating as a franchise chain, the company became independent in July 1986, giving birth to “Jef”—a brand born and raised in Okinawa.
The name “Jef” is an acronym for “Japan Excellent Foods.”
It embodies a strong commitment to “providing excellent food in Japan, delighting our customers, and earning their trust.”
